Provider Relations Recruitment Specialist

An administrative specialist who has the drive and initiative to support the development and maintenance of a strong provider relations network that aligns with the business objectives of Espyr. The recruitment specialist assists in the support of the workflow of the department and can identify, track, negotiate and provide support to the Espyr provider network.

The Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for carrying out a variety of day-to-day tasks within the department.
• Manage communication with providers via the network provider phone line and provider relations email.
• Ensure provider coverage nationally is maintained for our Customer Care departments for client referral.
• Responds to provider queries, monitors key processes, and reports information regularly to the Provider Relations Manager.
• Communicates professionally and effectively with our Provider network as the key representative of Espyr.
• Negotiates market-specific rates with providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensures that all applications of providers are processed in a timely manner.
• Assist with routine re-credentialing of providers to verify active license and malpractice insurance.
• Other tasks as assigned to support the needs of the Provider Relations Department

Requirements:
• 2 – 3 years administrative experience (preferably in healthcare or behavioral health)
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High integrity, detail-oriented and works with strong work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience creating and presenting information in person or by webinar
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills-listening, dealing with difficult customers
• Excellent organizational skills
• Critical thinker and able to work with minimal supervision
• Self-starter (perfect for a recent college graduate)
